Welcome to the Evangelic Protestant church of Champagnole !

What we are

Our Heritage

We are Protestants. The 16th century reformation revealed the great principles of the first Christians. We share with them: Only the Word of God, only faith, only grace.
Free choice…., separation of Church and State, secularism and free access to instruction for everyone.

Why are we Christians ?

We have discovered Jesus Christ who, in His love, gave His life for us. He has brought us to God, He has transformed our lives.

Why do we meet together ?

God wanted the Church so that believers could be strengthened and serve their Creator and their neighbours.

The Church is not a building but a community who plays an important role in society.

What we believe

We believe in the authority and infallibility of the Bible, which is the only Word of God.
We believe that this book guides and inspires us in our personal lives and in the activities of our Church..
We believe that the Bible replies to our questions and our deep personal needs.
We believe that neither our religion, nor our works, nor our traditions can save us. Salvation is a gift of God, which we receive by grace: the price paid by Jesus Christ at the Cross.

We believe that the Holy Spirit operates spiritual things in a consenting person: assurance, peace, faith, encouragement to do good.
